What made you want to work in this area?

♡ I had my first child in 2014 and the process of preparing for her birth got me hooked into the birth world. I found throughout my personal experiences with pregnancy, birth and miscarriage that there weren't enough resources and support locally for women through such significant times in our lives. So I finally took the plunge and got certified as a birth doula through DONA International and also became a certified lactation support counselor so that I can be a resource in the community offering quality birth and breastfeeding support.

One thing you wish you knew before becoming a Mum

♡ I can be so grateful for the gift of motherhood and not love certain seasons at the same time.
