The Thalasso Baby Bath
The Thalasso Baby Bath is a treatment offered to newborns, ideally between the 3rd and 21st day of life: at this stage, all their senses are still imbued with their intrauterine experience. It's a moment of well-being around the bath, but is much more than just a bath, it's a holistic approach to parenting tailored to both you and your baby's needs. During the bath, the baby reconnects with the sensations experienced in utero, allowing them to relax and release any tensions and emotions linked to their birth. The bath will immerse him back into this familiar universe. He'll be able to express himself, share stories, find comfort, and soothe himself under the enveloping gaze of his parents.
The Thalasso Baby Bath
The Thalasso Baby Bath is a technique involving bathing the baby while swaddled in a cloth to recreate the atmosphere of the mother's womb. Swaddling newborns in a soft cloth provides a sense of comfort and security. This gentle containment fosters relaxation, easing the baby's fears and reducing stress, allowing them to unwind. This method originates from neonatology services, where it was originally offered to premature babies.

The Thalasso Baby Bath typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours in the comfort of your own room. The ritual starts with a moment of connection over coffee or tea, followed by swaddling, bathing, and a nurturing "cocoon" moment with skin-to-skin contact (if desired) and massage.
As parents, you are the main actors in this ritual; my role is solely to accompany you through each step, providing you with the necessary guidance to enhance your autonomy at home.
